2. Early Access Program

Early Access

Chamade is currently in Early Access. By using the service, you acknowledge and accept the following conditions, which apply in addition to the general Terms of Service below.

2.1 Service Availability

During Early Access, the service is provided "as is" without any guarantee of availability, uptime, or performance. You may experience downtime, interruptions, bugs, or data loss. We will make reasonable efforts to keep the service running, but we do not commit to any service-level agreement (SLA).

2.2 Changes to Features

Features, APIs, and integrations may be added, modified, or removed at any time without prior notice. We may introduce breaking changes to the API. We recommend not relying on Chamade as your sole solution for critical workflows during this period.

2.3 Service Discontinuation

We reserve the right to discontinue the Chamade service at any time. In such event:

2.4 Early Access Pricing

During Early Access, the service is provided free of charge: no subscription, no usage-based fees, no quota. Hosted speech-to-text and text-to-speech (STT/TTS), when used, run on the user's own third-party provider API key (bring-your-own-key, BYOK): the user pays their provider directly, and Chamade does not charge for the pipeline on its side. Pricing for a future general-availability offering will be announced in advance; we will notify early-access users at least 14 days before any paid plan becomes mandatory, and provide a transition path.

2.5 Transition to General Availability

When Chamade exits Early Access, updated Terms of Service will apply. We will notify all users and provide the opportunity to review the new terms before they take effect.

3. Terms of Service

3.1 Acceptance

By creating an account or using the Chamade API, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3.2 Description of Service

Chamade is a voice and chat gateway for AI agents. It allows software agents to join voice meetings and text conversations across third-party platforms (including Discord, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Zoom, Telegram, WhatsApp, Slack, Nextcloud Talk, and SIP/phone networks) and interact via audio and text. Chamade acts as a proxy between your AI agent and each destination platform.

3.3 Account

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

3.4 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

3.5 API Keys

API keys (chmd_*) are confidential. You are responsible for all activity associated with your API keys. Compromised keys should be revoked immediately from your dashboard.

3.6 Third-Party Platforms

Chamade integrates with third-party platforms (Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Discord, etc.). Your use of these platforms is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for changes, outages, or policy enforcement by third-party platforms.

3.7 OAuth Connections

When you connect your Microsoft or Google account, you grant Chamade limited access to create and join meetings on your behalf. You can revoke this access at any time from your dashboard or from the third-party platform's settings.

3.8 Intellectual Property

Chamade and its codebase are the property of Nafis SRL. You retain full ownership of any content you transmit through the service (transcriptions, audio, chat messages).

3.9 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Belgian law, Nafis SRL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

3.10 Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with notice where reasonably possible. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4. Terms of Sale

4.1 Early Access — Free and Open

Chamade is currently in early access. During this period, all features are free and open to registered users, with no subscription, no usage-based charges, and no quota. Hosted speech-to-text and text-to-speech (STT/TTS) are available on a bring-your-own-key (BYOK) basis: users provide their own third-party provider API key (ElevenLabs, Deepgram, etc.) via the dashboard, and Chamade runs the pipeline using that key. Chamade does not charge for hosted STT/TTS in early access; users remain responsible for any fees charged by their chosen provider.

Pricing will be announced once the feature surface stabilizes. Existing early-access users will receive reasonable notice and a grace period before any pricing changes take effect.

4.2 Future Subscription and Billing

Any future paid plans will be billed via Stripe. Subscriptions would renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled, and users would be able to manage their subscription and payment methods through the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible from the dashboard. Specific terms (pricing, usage model, credits) will be published on this page and in the dashboard before activation.

4.3 Usage-Based Charges

No usage-based charges apply during early access. In the future, voice minutes (STT, TTS, SIP) may be deducted from a monthly credit at rates displayed in the dashboard, with voice features suspended when the credit is exhausted. The exact model will be communicated before activation.

4.4 Right of Withdrawal

Not applicable during Early Access, which is free. Once paid plans are introduced: in accordance with Belgian law (Book VI, Code of Economic Law) and EU Directive 2011/83, you will have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of subscription. To exercise this right, contact us at [email protected]. If you have actively used the service during this period, the refund may be reduced proportionally to the usage consumed.

4.5 Cancellation

Not applicable during Early Access — there is no subscription to cancel. You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard (see §3.10). Once paid plans are introduced, subscriptions will be cancellable from the Stripe Customer Portal; cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period, and no partial refunds will be issued for the remaining days of the current period except as provided in §2.3.

4.6 Price Changes

We may change pricing with at least 14 days notice. Price changes take effect at the start of the next billing period. See also Section 2.4 for Early Access pricing.

5. Privacy Policy

5.1 Data Controller

The data controller is Nafis SRL, Belgium (BCE 0656.477.588). For any privacy-related inquiry, contact [email protected].

5.2 Data We Collect

5.3 Legal Basis

5.4 Sub-processors

Chamade relies on the following third-party services to operate the gateway itself:

Third-party speech providers (BYOK). Hosted STT/TTS, when you enable it, runs on a speech provider that you choose and to whom you directly subscribe by pasting their API key in the dashboard — for example ElevenLabs, Deepgram, OpenAI, Cartesia. In this configuration Chamade acts as a technical conduit: audio is forwarded from the meeting to the provider's endpoint using your key, and transcripts/synthesized audio flow back. The provider is engaged under your agreement with them and is not a Chamade sub-processor. If you do not enable hosted STT/TTS (BYO-audio mode), no audio is sent to any speech provider from Chamade's side.

Destination platforms. When you connect a platform (Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Zoom, Discord, Slack, Nextcloud Talk, Telegram, WhatsApp, SIP) Chamade transmits meeting audio and chat to that platform on your behalf. Those platforms are controlled by you (through your own account and their terms) and are not Chamade sub-processors.

5.5 Data Retention

5.6 Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

5.7 Security

We implement appropriate technical measures: encrypted token storage (Fernet/AES-256), hashed passwords (PBKDF2), HTTPS everywhere, and regular security reviews. Sensitive data (OAuth tokens, bot tokens) is encrypted at rest with a server-side key.

6. Cookies

Chamade uses two strictly necessary first-party cookies, both set only after you log in:

Both cookies are set when you log in and deleted when you log out. They are not used for analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking. Because they are strictly necessary for the service to function, no consent banner is required under the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC).

We do not use any third-party cookies, analytics scripts, or tracking pixels.

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Belgium. For questions, contact [email protected].
